During our Online Survey, we have 145 respondents who are Lautech Students and they have succeeded in providing answers to our questions.

N.B- We will base our Analysis on the number of our Respondents.

ANALYSIS

  • Out of the 145 respondents, we have 104 male respondents and 41 female respondents which in percentage give us 71.7% male respondents and 29.3% female respondents respectively.
  • Out of the 145 respondents 2.8% are Pdites, 11.7% are in 100level, 26.9% are in 200level, 20% are in 300level, 23.4% are in 400level, 15.2% are in 500level.

Over time, we always thought that anything called Effects are always negative but Longman Dictionary defines Effect as “The Result or Outcome of a Cause” so Effects can be Negative or Positive.

Fine, we have been on Strike for 7months but am here to show the World that despite we been deprived of our Right to Sound Education, We Ladokites based on my Respondents response have been able to Maximise this Strike despite some Negatives too.

 

The Analysis below shows more Light to this Fact.

From the table above we were able to see that 21.4% students were able to do academics related activities, While 78.6% students said they didn’t do anything related to academics during this strike at all.

Out of the 21.4% students that were able to do academics related activities we were able to see how often they do this during this Strike, this is shown below.

From the table, above we were able to see that out of 21.4% students that were able to do academics related activities during this strike 7.6% of them do this very rarely while 8.3% do this rarely, also 2.1% studies occasionally while 2.8% studies often and 0.7% studies Very Often

During the course of this strike, 51.7% of our respondents were able to learn new skills and the remaining 48.3% said they didn’t learn any skills.

Despite the National Economic Recession, 48.3% of our respondents were able to make money during this strike while the remaining 51.7% said they were unable to make money during this Strike.

Students are fully aware that immediately the strike is called off their First-semester examination will commence immediately and in view of this 62.8% of our respondents are not prepared at all for the exam, 18.6 are poorly prepared, 10.3% are slightly prepared, 2.8% are averagely prepared while 5.5% are adequately prepared.

7months have caused so many ups and downs for us Students.

Most of us abandoned our book let alone reading them.

Our parents are tired of seeing us at home…

Some were able to make money while some go for Knowledge…

Some died during this Struggle.

 

Our hostel rent is counting.

Our neighbours who are indigene are bedridden no source of income for them again.
